Estefanía Carrillo of VideoCam: The Micro Cinema Camera of Blackmagic is very versatile and increasingly popular
Once again VideoCam, Blackmagic Design master distributor in Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean, participated in the Cartagena Film Festival. Estefanía Carrillo, VideoCam Marketing and Sales representative, commented that “our alliance in this opportunity was as sponsors and we were in the closing ceremony, in which I delivered two Micro Cinema cameras in two categories: Official Documentary Competition and Best Documentary Director Award”.
She stressed that “this model of camera (Micro Cinema) is very versatile and increasingly popular, since it has a wide dynamic range of 13 steps, offers the ability to record in Cinema DNG RAW 12-bit, and interchangeable mount for greater flexibility in optics”.
She added that “their compact size makes them easy to transport and are ideal for scenes in small spaces, action shots and capture moments without creating much distraction, something that is essential for documentaries. In addition, each camera comes with a full license of DaVinci Resolve, the most complete post-production program for editing, advanced grading and audio processing”.
It was reported that the winners have a perfect tool to complement any production and will be a prize that will provide the possibility to continue creating high quality content.
“So we are very pleased to continue our partnership with the festival and continue to contribute to the development of the film industry in Colombia.”
